Learn to Brew Like a Tradesman

Welcome to the jobsite of all things coffee. This ain’t no barista ballet — this is the blueprint zone. You’ll find simple, no-BS “recipes” for making every type of brew, whether you’re rigging up a pour-over in the break room or cold brewing in a bucket on site.
Each method comes with a visual guide, a list of what you need, and a breakdown that sounds more like site instructions than a snooty coffee blog. Plus, we’ll slap our recommended Construction Coffee blends on each one so you’re not guessing what to pair it with.
Coffee should hit hard, taste good, and keep you vertical. This page shows you how — step by step, one grind at a time. Let’s build something better than just another cup.

P.S.-We're not professionals, and neither are you. If you get confused use Google or YouTube academy.

Espresso (The Overachiever)

How to Make: Finely ground coffee, tightly packed in the portafilter, 9 bars of pressure, 25-30 seconds. Tastes like a slap to the face that says "Get to work."
Gear Needed: Espresso machine, fine grind, tamper, steam wand if milk's involved.
Pairs With: Sparky’s Nightmare
Flick that breaker

Cold Brew (The Night Shift Special)

How to Make: Steep coarse coffee in cold water for 12–18 hours. Strain it. Pour in a pitcher one part concentrate one part water. Looks like dirty water. Hits like diesel. Share if you feel like it. We don't care either way.
Gear Needed: Large mason jar/bucket, coarse grind, cold water, filter.
Pairs With: King of the Castle
